Some of you may remember voting for my son, Dakota, to be athlete of the week back during football season. He received that honor 2 weeks in a row, thanks in no small part to your votes! 8) Well, basketball season is here, and his team is doing great, currently undefeated with a 14-0 record and ranked 5th in the state.

Dakota received another honor this week, being named Student Athlete of the Week for the same TV station. Obviously, his dad & I are very proud of him, and I wanted to share the link with anyone that was interested in seeing exactly who you voted for a few months ago. :D

Wonderful video Donna. Your son is blessed to have been raised with attentive and loving parental example into adolescent fruition. My mom attended and took tons of pix at every one of mine and my brothers recitals, dance shows, etc. (hench my profile pix...HARF! *snort*! kidding) I can only imagine what a wonderful adult Dakota will turn out to be.
