Why do you guys hate the French?

My last name and the family coat of armsoriginate from France. Me? I wouldn't go through France in an ambulance. I've never been there, so I can't say from personal experience, but so many people have said the French are condescending and rude. I have no need to experience that.

Most French are rude - but only when forced to speak English. Seriously, you people walk around thinking that everyone should speak -your- language. That's stupid.
