So maybe there will be more interviews to follow.
That would be nice.

I hate Planet Rock. I tuned in on Monday to hear the Perry interview and listened to Nicky Horne's inane drivel for 2 hours in between playing songs you have heard so many times that they have become a cliche.

Nicky Horne was promoting two new features. One was an acoustic feature where listeners could email with two acoustic tracks. He kept saying "think out side the box, something original" blah blah. Then he plays Extreme and Neil Young! So predictable.

For his second feature it took me an hour to understand what on earth he was talking about. He kept saying something like "email me with your two favourite new wob ham tracks". Then the next time he would say "email me with your two favourite new wod on tracks"

I then realised he was talking about the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. Whilst I realise that this is often abbreviated to N.W.O.B.H.M I have never heard anyone pronounce it as a word. Maybe it's me, but he sounded like a dick.

Stations like this are one of the reasons why rock music is dead. Stuck in the past, with with boring out of date DJs
