In all seriousness, this was a good interview. I don't care for or know much of his music (but he's a hell of a guitar player when unleashed), but Mayer's clearly a guy who's thought about a lot of things. There are far worse/shallow celebs than him, if this is any indication.

I don't see what the big deal is. If he had talked about Simpson being a three holer or Jen being a head queen, I could see that as going too far but from what I read, he didn't say anything worse than what Howard Stern or Tom Leykis have spouted out over the years.
