UNLESS he decides to be a TE he will have a short and lackluster NFL career...he certainly is a tremendously talented athelete, just not an NFL caliber QB.

I went to school with Ryan. Guy has tons more talent than Tebow will ever have. The difference? Ryan had a 10 cent head and Tebow is smart. Athletically speaking, there is no comparison.

Well, good news out of camp for Tim fans. Dude set a record for time running a 30 yard cone route...and also set a record I believe for a standing vertical leap. Good for him. The sports world needs more good guys like Tebow. I actually hope the guy makes an NFL team..I just wish he would tone down the religious wackery. Other than going over the top with his thumping practice, he is a great guy.

I'll take "overly religious, Bible thumping" over "drug dealing gangsta" any day.

Tebow's a good guy and it could be worse.

He's definitely a great kid. It's just hard to see him playing QB at the NFL level, it really is. At any rate, you'd have to have a screw loose to hedge the bets on saving your franchise with him with so many questions about technique surrounding him.

You're taking what I said completely out of context. I said Tebow IS a great kid, but we don't really need him to recite to us Revelations or Deuteronomy for Christs sake do we? Just stay out of trouble on and off the field which he undoubtedly will, and don't cram your religion down our throats. There's a balance he can walk. I got news for Timmy. When he gets hammered into next week, and is on his back flopping around like a fish out of water in pain, he is going to hear bad words on the football field. It ain't church and it's not supposed to be G rated. That said, I do hope the guy makes a team and gets paid to play. I always pull for the good guys and he is definitely one of them; he just isn't a good QB that's all.

I wasn't taking anything out of context, just stating my opinion that being ultra religious (although annoying to many) is better than being ultra gangsta.

I disagree with the Leaf-Tebow comparisons. College career only speaking: how many Heismans and NCAA records does Ryan possess?

better comparison would be the hype that Leaf got and Mandarich got... both were NFL busts.....no heart and no talent... DEAN if LEAF had talent he would probably be still playing... Tebow will have a nice career I think... and he will be a better player if not picked right away and flys under the radar... will keep him humble... Again, if given the right team and coaches...I see huge things from tebow...

Limpwrist, I went to Wazzu for 6.5 years. I did my undergraduate there as well as grad school. I was there for Drew's last year and two of Leaf's (1992-1998).
