There's no difference. He was a doper and that's what killed him.

Hey, asshole, just because someone has a prescrition doesn't mean they're not a doper. Look at Michael Jackson.

I get all that, fuck ass. You want to assume that just because he's had problems with drugs in the past, that that's what killed him. Are you the coroner and do have absolute proof, or are you making another typical arm chair diagnosis? The autopsy did not confirm death by drug, but by an enlarged heart and fluid in the lungs. That does not conclusively indicate a drug overdose, cock breath. He could have had a virus. A close friend of my sister had an enlarged heart due to a virus. She almost died too.

I deal with patients who came in not addicted and end up that way....a severe injury and they are fucked!
They need the medication to deal with the pain and then the can't get off them...Some people don't ask for the
addiction it just happens.

my 75-year-old grandmother has severe osteoporosis and has broken several vertebrae in her back, she could barely walk for 8 months. she was addicted to the pain killers, made a resolution to stop, and she did. she's in a bit of pain, though in much better shape now and in great shape for any 75-year-old regardless of medical condition. if she can get off them, any one can.

Dude, it's easy. My doctor gives me Oxycontin and Percocets on the same day, 60 and 120, respectively. The most I ever took was 25, but I was looped. It's a tolerance and I can definitely see Corey building a tolerance. I have a serious knee condition. As for him, I have no clue..I am assuming he lied to his doctors, and made up shit.
Also, who can hate on this guy? He was masterful in License to Drive.

So do you have to people who have 1/2 their skin burned off in an accident??? or how about someone who has
colon cancer and has to have 1/2 of his bowel removed?? I would guess not...just saying there are times when
people get addicted and do not intend to.

Jesus criminy, did you even read a word I fucking wrote? my grandmother was addicted. She got off of them by setting her mind to it. If a 75-year-old who was nearly paralyzed can do it, any one can.
To be totally honest, you're better off doing the sycophantic cheerleading on the sidelines with a cursory "Yeah! I Agree! Steve Perry should make everyone wet and hard!" and not trying to contribute substantive original thoughts. Good day.
