Some great bands indeed. I would personally like to see the following bands live:
Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, Coheed & Cambria , Kill Switch Engage, Rise Against and Airborne....

Gawd, the names on that remind me of a club poster I saw years ago. "Skinny Puppies w/Severed Heads". Where the heck do they get some of these band names from? :?

LOL! OK you got me there. But at least they took their name from a Free (Paul Rodgers) song. But your right "Five Finger Death Punch" sounds much more sophisticated...... :P

Only band worth seeing on that bill is Halestorm.

Lzzy Hale can sing for me any time, amongst other things.....

FYI: I'm in FULL contrarian/curmudgeon mode today...

Mastodon, Anberlin, Coheed & Cambria, Airbourne, Deftones, Helmet, Sevendust, Bullet for my Valentine, and Killswitch Engage are all legit....

I MAY go... but most of my concert funds for the summer went to going to Pearl Jam in Columbus on May 6th, and a couple NASCAR races.

Jim, you're a respected musician/songwriter and generally have great taste, and you're a great guy overall from what I know (even though you have yet to play any Call of Duty with me)

....BUT...

Have you even listened to some of these bands? Great material is spread throughout this entire lineup.

Check some of it out before bashing it.

You're really stretching the definition of MR if you consider those bands MR, except for Anberlin who I don't know. Rest of those bands are utter shit besides Coheed... decent proggy style music there.

Hey man! Thanks, but you never send me an invite do you? What's your gamer tag? Also, I'm hardly ever on there gaming. I'm usually watching a movie or checking out demos.

I wasn't saying the bands suck, I was picking on Andrew because he said that about that other festival and caught some flack for it! I do have to admit though, that that's not my style of music. Not knocking it though, and I hope you guys have a blast!
