Probably a good chance it hits number #1 on the charts. When I think about it, has AC-DC ever released a studio version Greatest Hits Disc?

They released a boxset but no single disc Greatest Hits disc like most bands, at least not in the states. They've still sold over 200 million albums world wide without a definite Hits CD which is indeed rare (I don't think Led Zeppelin has ever had a single GH disc either, despite selling over 100 million albums just in the U.S. alone).

Previously, the Maximum Overdrive Soundtrack (Who Made Who) was basically their GH compilation.

Yeah, that makes sense. Still, not a real Greatest Hits album. I guess when you have an album sell like Back in Black, you don't really need a Official Greatest Hits album anyway.

sure did.both flick of the switch and fly on the wall barely went gold and they were in danger of sinking lower.who made who was a huge single at the right time.i also think the razors edge tour and album in '90 was a huge uplift too.i went to see them live and moneytalks and thunderstruck were both huge off that album.of course since '90 i think they've only released like three albums.the huge bands only release a album now once or twice a decade.
