He always has, i went to a concert in reading Pa a few years back,I got there in the middle of the first song{ Be Good To Yourself} I always took my daughter with me,He gave me a thumbs up ,we saw them in NJ and Scranton Pa that same week. he did recognize me as did Neal and Steve A.
