Is it possible to have it all?

Postby SusieP » Tue May 25, 2010 4:34 am

I was just thinking about this when I read that Madonna is trying to get another movie made. The woman has been so mega successful with her music career but she just cannot seem to get the same success in movies. So even she can't have everything she wants.

Also, Jennifer Aniston seems to have it all. Talent, wealth, beauty, success - but she can't seem to hold down a long term relationship.

So I got to thinking.......... does anyone have it all?

Jon Bon Jovi seems to have it all on the face of it. Is he the only one?
Or is there something he wishes he had that he has never got?

Whatever makes up that equation, if happiness is a factor in "having it all" it reduces the number of people who do.

Madonna did a couple good movies. I like that one with Rupert whatever his name is. One she did, a thriller, Body of something, she was terrible, wooden acting. She was too self-aware.

It's easy to have it all, just as long as you set boundaries and hold to them. Madonna could have had it all if all she wanted was to be successful in music. But she needed to have more and more and now she can't have it all.

In other words, if all I want in life is to make my wife happy....well then I've accomplished having it all.

Personally I have all that I need in my life as far as love and pleasure and happiness there might be things that I want but they can wait; that list seems to get longer daily. I think I'm truly happy and content with how my life is at the moment.

Elton John has it all, except he would like a full head of hair.

Bono has it all, except he would like to be tall.

Oprah has it all, except she would like to be skinny.
