Postby Peartree12249 » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:48 pm

In case anyone is interested, today on BBC 6 radio, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters narrated a 1 hour tribute to John Bonham. The program features interviews with band mates, friends & family. Enjoy!

In our office we have a very young intern who loves the Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl. She never knew he was a drummer before being in this band. She only knows him from the Foo Fighters. So I showed her one of the greatest moments on MTV awards and she was so excited and loved the video. Remember when this happened on tv? I do, I was in San Francisco at my wife's apartment, we had been dating for a few years by then and she was video recording on the vcr the MTV awards. We were laying on the couch together when this song came on and afterwards, we looked at one another and were like "what the hell just happened on the show"? I was then glad she taped it and we showed it over and over for a good two months for our friends who missed the show. That was long before youtube and the internet as we have it today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piFudOtb4EI
