We'll just have to disagree on this. Nobody touches Plant on that song. Gramm is one of the best singers, ever, but it didn't do it for me.

Lou is my second favorite singer of all time, but Rick's right, he needs to leave Zep alone...and yes, I am getting sassy!

Jimbo, I'm not even considering the music behind him, which is barely acceptable, but NO!. As I said, Lou is top notch in my list of great singers, but, and maybe I'm just prejudiced, he can not touch Plant, on either track. I'm glad you like it though. No, I really am. Really. Ahem.

No- it is not Robert Plant but many would not even attempt it. I love Lou,especially after still singing after the brain tumor. At 1st he didn't sound that good, but as time went by much of his voice came back.

He sounds pretty damn good, nice to hear the old Lou. Back several years ago I heard Dennis DeYoung and Styx (I think it was some radio interview) do "Whole Lotta Love" that just kicked ass :D

no, mid to late 90s. He did a few for a tribute album. It's in Andrew's review archives if you want to search it out.

I wish John Farnham's version of Black Dog was still on youtube. It was quite good.

I just saw Lou here in San Angelo a few weeks ago. He is a big, big guy now, an honorary member of Heart and he can't hit the notes anymore. Guess what? I still had a blast! I forgot how much I loved Foreigner back in the day. Radio killed Foreigner "Four", but you know, now I can listen to those songs and appreciate how good they are and the first two albums plus Head Games, are among my all=time favorites!

Hey, get this, there was a meet and greet behind the stage. Me and my buddy were walking around outside of the gates between acts and went around back of the stage, right by the Concho River. I look up, and there's Lou with a line of about 20 people who had paid $75 each to meet him, get pics, autographs, etc. Anyway, I thought, well, we're here, let's just get in line. We did, got up there and met him, helluva nice guy. Then they ushered all of those folks in a side gate, including me and my buddy WITH ALL THE TICKET HOLDERS. We didn't ever get tickets.......I know. Shitty. I should have been honest, but I'm not..

I think I read a few yrs ago that he has to take steroids post brain tumor. So, therefore the weight gain. See what you can find out regarding that. My daughter, post brain injury, takes a med that reduces her weight as a side affect. Lou is a trooper !!!!!!!

I believe that's accurate. Pre-surgery, he was in top-notch shape.
