Mocha, where ya been?
Busy living life, working on knitting and writing projects and have not had time to be on MR or FB, but I am here in spirit if it matters to anyone! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life despite anything that might impede happiness i.e.: bills; mortgage payments; rent; unemployment (6 mos and counting, but happy as hell!); death; illness, etc.
Mocha on Writing:
My editor is about to complete the last two chapters of a coffee table book I wrote for my mom about her 1950 celebrity photographs entitled: TREASURES OF A BRONX WARRIOR; Photographs and Memories of a Devout New Yorker, Movie Star Hopeful, Loving Mother. Next up, find a publisher.
Mocha on Mom:
Still "hangin'". My mom's museum exhibit opening is October of this year. Lord willing she continues her kick ass spirit and stays with us. She'll be 80 in December.
Mocha on Dating: (sounds of crickets inserted here)
All my single female friends now have boyfriends which is forcing me to do one of two things, either get a man or get more cats!
Actually, I've been talking to some guys and so far my commitment fears and distrust of men is starting to fade just enough to allow me to lighten up! Seriously, I am one hot mess when it comes to dating. I haven't yet met anyone who sparks an interest, however, me, my big ole heart and my aged cocoa nether region are hopeful. *snort*! There are 5 New York vids to view, the last two are of my friend making fun of me complaining about the heat. Unfortunately I grew bored poking fun at poor Steve Perry, although, I might consider doing something by the end of the year.
