I went to see his ass 3 times with Journey. I don't discriminate. I've enjoyed all of their singers. That said, I wouldn't accept a free ticket from him. He called me a "fuck wit." :x

That's pretty much the way I feel, Deb. The Heart fan club had the best deal out there. It was $35 a year, and you received a free t-shirt and you were guaranteed excellent seats. For $125 (face value) I was sitting in front of the people that bought ILAA Journey tickets. I had front row at 5 of the 8 shows I did on the Revelation tour. The Heart fan club is great, if anyone is looking for good Leppard/Heart tix next year.

This show is general admission. So if I can get up front, I pity the poor fool that even tries to stand in front of me. Hmmm maybe I should eat an onion and a clove of garlic before the show. LOL that should leave me a nice small circumference. :P

I'll bulldoze the way up front for you, and then I'll disappear towards the back. I wonder if they have VIP purchases like Chicago. You get seats toward the back on the part that overlooks the floor and stage. And I hope Herbie goes. I wanna interview him. :)

Seat? What's that? The last thing I'll be doing at a MR BIG concert, is sitting. See those arms in the air in my sig? Just like at any other JSS or EM show, that'll be me. LOVE my music, LIVE and loud! :D

 LOL the trick is going to be.....trying to hold it in check when/if they blaze into this favorite......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omic-ZxM ... re=related

No need to bulldoze your way up front dude. I am ordering three bottles of Liquid Ass just for this special night. That will clear more room than a nuetron bomb, trust me on that. Besides, it won't sell out anyway (sorry Deb). The place is a huge bar is what it is. I would say it holds maybe 700, and that is SRO. There are seats up top Dan...I saw that douche Ace Freely up there when Journey played for the Walk of Fame ceremony. Martin had better thank you MR peeps for coming...you will all make his crowd respectable.

It didn't fit. They gave me a medium. And, for the record, I have never bought one concert t-shirt on my life. Though I did get one in my goody bag with the Journey fan club thing back around 2003. It's still in my drawer because it, too, didn't fit.

3 bottles of that stuff would clear out California from San Diego to Monterey. I'll never forget the confused look on the beaners' faces as they feverishly scrubbed the floors, toilets and walls of the bathroom trying to get rid of the smell. That stuff is deadly. That was a fuckin' fun night. :)

And you know when I get say 15 or so beers in me, I am going to be really obnoxious...meaning I will likely spray it on unsuspecting peoples clothes and in open car windows. That shit takes forever to clean out the odor, especially when it's saturated into fabric. It's aewesome.

S2M wrote:IMHO, Eric Martin has a great voice, and he definitely knows HOW to sing....but honestly - that band couldn't write a decent song if their life depended on it. I admit to liking a handful of songs, and actually, that should have been their name - A Handful of Songs. I'd rather listen to EM solo. Maybe A Handful of Songs is better as a live act. I suspect this is so....

On second thought, if I had to choose between a Mr Big show or EM show, as much as I loooove Mr Big, an EM solo show would win out. You don't get vocals in MB like this....... (80s mullet  ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trI1WOHFMWo when you're trying to sing over the sometimes bombastic guitar/bass of PG/BS. :D Each has their place though.
