She IS a HIT. Who cares about the music.
Do you know whats the difference between a wicker basket and a wicker box?
A wicker basket is usually kept in the bathroom with soaps or potpourri.
wicker box is what Elmer Fudd would like to do to Shania Twain.

Exactly what many of us have suggested that Perry/Journey should do some day.

Wow, you have high hopes, Perry performing night after night. Mine are much smaller. It would be a miracle to see Perry perform LIVE just ONE TIME. So I dream more realistically, that Perry, who hasn't performed live for fifteen years, has it in him to do one live performance for DVD with Journey some day. Even that is highly unlikely. I don't believe we will ever see Perry perform live ever again for whatever his reasons are. The Giants game was as close as you will get. Maybe that CD will come out some day, though, but who knows.

Never said 'night after night'. I think Garth Brooks deal was something like 12 shows, and only on weekends. I think he even gets charter service to & from his OK home.
If Perry would do about a half dozen dates with Journey at selective major cities, then he might garner enough attention to do a couple months of Vegas, and he could probaby name the sched.

Celebrity gossip site Perez Hilton.com has reported that country superstar Shania Twain is negotiating a deal with Caesars Palace to perform a resident ongoing show at the Colosseum. According to exclusive insider sources affiliated with the site, "her deal is almost done".
The 45 - year old Twain is the best - selling female country artist of all time with a career that peaked during the mid - 1990's. In September 2010, the star inked a deal with Atria Books to publish her autobiography which will reportedly be published in spring 2011.
If in fact Twain does end up performing at Caesars, she will join Celine Dion as one of two Canadian - born female superstars to headline at the Colosseum. We'll see.
Last night on "ET Canada" it was reported that a rep for Shania says the Vegas show rumor is NOT true.
Twain time
At a Billboard Music Awards press conference in 2003, Shania Twain said she’d have to be “really old” to have a show on the Vegas Strip. Now she’s reportedly in negotiations for a Caesars residency. Guess she’s old enough now. — Ken Miller, associate editor

Wicked whispers & racy rumors
All those gossip site reports about Shania Twain coming to Caesars Palace simply aren’t correct -- or at best they’re a step ahead of themselves. I [Robin Leach] asked The Colosseum execs about the rumors, and they simply said, “Not true. No contract, no negotiations.” They added that they’d love to welcome her if she wants to perform here, but at the moment, absolutely nothing is set in cement.
