Two years ago there was a ten year old that lives about 50 miles from me that gave birth. It was (obviously) the result of incest. Earlier this year we had a twelve year old give birth. It's just crazy!!!!!!!!

It is so sad! I can't even imagine what it does to these girls! They don't even understand what's happening to their bodies yet, let alone how to handle a pregnancy.

I saw a teen mom yesterday and she didn't even know what a uterus was. I had to take out diagrams and give her an anatomy lesson-I can't even imagine trying to explain all this to a ten year old!!

You got to love Grandma. "What's the big deal?" she says, her face beaming with pride.

It's probably a cultural thing. In other cultures it's really no big deal to get pregnant young. I have lots and lots of hispanic moms between 15-18 years old and their families think it's great-that's the way their culture is-they start having babies young.

Yeah it can be crazy. I had a mom today who acted shocked that her 16 year old needs to see a GYN for her GYN issues, lol. Well sorry if you don't want your little darlin' facing that big people world just yet but there's no such thing as Pediatric Gynecology or Pediatric Obstetrics people, lol.

It is sad! I am thankful that my 11 year old didn't even know what a "ho" was. Last week, she told me the kids were saying it was "hug a ho day" in school. Some middle school boys idea Im sure   So she was hugging people thinking it meant "hobo"  THANK GOD for her innocence!! Which I had to totally ruin when I told her what a ho really was so she wouldnt hug anyone for that again! Her face was shock and she said "oh mommy, that's not a nice word"  Kids are really ahead of themselves these days for sure.

Not all Republicans are against abortion in cases like these. The ones that are against it are messed up!

I use the "hidy ho" all the time. I just sounds so innocent. I guess I better re-think that one.
