They are still out there , making music, filling arenas, and making money. When many are not. I saw the Goo Goo Dolls this weekend. A radio station sponsored it, so the station had a local covers band open, that included one of the local DJ's who is their guitarist. You should have seen the number 20-somethings there to see the GGD's. And you should have SEEN the reaction when the band did "Livin on a Prayer" Unreal to me how many young people sing along and know that music. They went nuts! They did the same thing for Don't Stop Believin too though!

They were great! I really like some of the music on their new album, and they did several of them. Johnny looked great and sounded much better than he did the last time I saw him!!

I'm out of the loop... GGD has a new album? Come to think of it, maybe they did do a new song or two in July when I saw them. I "might" have been a little drunk.
Go fuck yourself, Matt.

"Night Club? Fuck that, I want to play the desert, and sell it out. And do it again the next night"
Having Sinatra's picture there to look at for inspiration before each show. And the philanthrapy is a lot more than even I was aware of.
120 million albums sold. 2600 shows. 50 countries.
That's a career.
