That was INSANE! 8)

Thanks for sharing Deb. I've never seen Kotzen play live before but have seen both Gilbert and Lynch a few times. I'll have to catch Richie next time he blows through town.

One of the Youtube comments had it right: "The nucleus of awesomeness right there on stage."

I haven't seen any of those 3 live. And my chances of Kotzen blowing through my town aren't likely, so unless he joins MB at a show, I'm not likely to either. Would love to see him live though, I have that show that has the Remember clip I posted above on it, and I just love his playing, reminds me of Schon, he's such a feeling/bluesy player. Although, will be seeing 1 of the 3 play live soon enough. :D

Richie's the best guitarist and the best singer that's ever been in Mr Big. ;-)

Paul is technically better, but I do prefer Richie's style more. And he is definitely a great singer in his own right, but better than Eric.....nuh huh.  Loved their vocal mesh on songs like Shine, Static, etc. I know it probably never will, but I would love to see Shine added to a setlist.

I agree that Richie plays with more feeling but based no some of his early work and some later instrumental pieces I might lean toward him being better on the technical side as well with the disclaimer that I haven't heard much of Paul's post Mr Big work.
I thought the vocal remark would get a rise out of you but I honestly do prefer RK's voice to EM's.
As the the new Mr Pig (questional art work though I know where they are going with that) cd, is it in any store yet? Best Buy didn't have it in stock in the store on the day of its release and showed none on order.

Yeah, compared to their 90s covers, I thought it was a bit boring. Not sure on Bestbuy, I bought my cd/dvd from NEHRecords, very reasonable prices.

You can check out Paul's pre Mr. Big work to find out what an absolute monster the man is on the guitar (see Racer X). All three are awesome in their own way. Seems the feeling is Lynch is the weakest link of the three. While George may have lost a bit now at almost age 60, he was one of the premier guitarists of the 80s. The man could let loose with some of the craziest solos. I am the least familiar with Kotzen. But from what I have seen/heard he is excellent as well. Just preffered taste with these three. They are all extremely talented. 8)
