Does anybody know when Amazon actually takes the money out of your account? Immediately, or around the time the item releases? Just curious...

They have a price guarantee with pre-orders. You aren't locked in at the price at the time you made your order. If the price drops after you make your pre-order, they will give you the lowest price. Not a bad deal. Happened with me when I pre-ordered AB III.

Yeh they never debit your card until the item ships. And if the price has dropped since you placed the order you only pay the lower price.

And sometimes with pre-orders they ship them the day before the official release date so you actually receive them ON the release day.

Forget Amazon, Check Demonoid on May 25th and you'll be in like flint. Granted it probably won't be better than 320kbs but beggars can't be choosers and if you're ill positioned towards the new Journey album anyway, it shan't make a difference. :lol:
