What amazed me about this is no one called 911 it seems? No cops, no ambulance, ridiculous.

Man, at first I thought it was the new trailer for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes".

Then I found the real thing.

WOW...that looks horrible. The apes look like Gorillas, and the whole thing looks contrived. Why not just follow the original PoTA stories ands reboot them? The first was awesome.

This one looks like they were grasping at straws. Wahlberg landed on the Planet where the lincoln monument was an ape....should have picked up from there. What a waste....

It's a prequel to the Wahlberg flick, which I thought was horrible.

I'm a huge PoTA fan since childhood, and have all the movies + the TV series on DVD. The Tim Burton film was quite disappointing, but had its moments. I'm actually thinking this will be pretty good. Yes, they are going for much more realism in the apes, but there is a great hint that they will honor some of the classic ape facial expressions between 1:28-1:31, and I would have a hard time enjoying any PoTA movie without them. And thank God Tim Burton isn't involved, with his cracked out Alice In Wonderland vision. He sucks.

Little bit of trivia...well, I never read this officially, but I have come to the conclusion that Aldo Nova got his name from 2 characters in PoTA.....

I wonder who else noticed this? And don't lie....    :P

Well, it's a lot easier to say than his real name, Aldo Scarporuscio.
