They have that part sequenced, and I'm not sure the exact notes. You can get by with that part though by bouncing A, E, A with a good synth sound and the average person out there will never know the difference.

Thanks Jim! If I wasn't in a bind for time, I'd analyze it more, but I figured I'd ask just to see what people had to say. Hope all is well with you and the family.

You're welcome, and thanks! I just re-read what I posted though, and meant to say that they had that part arpeggiated. It's really hard to hear the exact notes, as it's pretty buried in the mix. Anyways, glad I could help. BTW, I just listened to the song and have a better solution for you...
I don't read music, so you'll have to bear with my explanation here. Start with the 2nd to the highest A, then bounce from the E below it to the next lower A. Do that 4 measures going back and forth. Then go from the 2nd highest A to E, to D, then down to the lower A. Do that walk down 4 times. Repeat these 2 variations throughout the whole intro and you'll hear that it sounds pretty damn close. Let me know if you get stuck on it.

Hey Jim,
Yeah, I figured you meant arpeggiated, although depending what you work with it could be sequenced too. I think I understand your explanation --
*Not designating distinction between octaves
A-E-A-E (16th feel alternating pattern) for 4 beats, A-E-D-A-D-E -- with that, I'm sure I can get something close. Like you said, it's there, just buried in the mix. Thanks again Jim.
