Um, you might want to research this before you run smack you can't back up. In Desert Storm, The Americans, British, Canadians and Americans all trained and served under one command, the US. We wore the same exact uniform, except for a little flag on the sleeve(in wartime, they were each your respective nation, albeit in black and green). In any event, the Aussies and Canucks were by far the "toughest fuckers' out there. This isn't to say the Americans were pussies becuse Heaven knows the Yanks could bing it, but when we had competition drills, you just couldn't knock those croc wrestlers out! Pugil fighting...wow that was a doozy. i remember licking my chops when I drew a tellow toothed Brit....oh that was easy as sin, but man was it fun...just pounded the living shit out those pussies! The Brits were good soldiers but very, very soft otherwise (no surprise there).
Anyway, the Americans were far superior soldiers than the Aussies, but as for toughness, there was no competion.
I wasn't referring to them... just Andrew.
When I went through Infantry training, we had some British that trained with us as well. We always wanted to trade MRE's, because theirs either had a little bottle of wine, or some cigarettes in them. I can't remember now, but remember thinking "why the hell don't WE have some of that shit!".
You have to be tough just to eat those things. A guy at work had a stockpile of them and would eat them at lunch. Believe me, this guy was completely out to lunch anyway, but those things looked awful.
Lol!! They aren't near as bad now as what we had initially. They were so bad, they would have pealed the paint right off of Tammy Faye's face!![]()
It looked like he would crack something and it would heat itself up. Now that's pretty cool.
