Great Concept For A Website

On July 14th Jimmy Page launched his own website.

http://www.jimmypage.com/

It's very well done and I love the On This Day Feature:

"Conceptualised and curated by Jimmy Page himself, one of the site’s biggest highlights is ‘On This Day’, a daily diary featuring events spanning the entirety of his immense career.

"It’s an interesting concept because every day you are going to have an event from my life and it will go all the way back to me being a teenager," said Jimmy. "It looks random, but it isn’t. I love the idea that there will be an all-new page everyday and nobody will be able to guess what’s coming next."

The multimedia On This Day feast includes video footage, images and audio clips as well as unseen photos and previously unreleased tracks, demos and home recordings. Each entry is accompanied by a personal anecdote written by Jimmy Page and will be available for just 24 hours. There will be no archiving; if you miss it, it’s gone!

The Live section contains every date ever performed by Jimmy since joining The Yardbirds in 1966, through to the present day and includes venue, setlist and line-up information where available. If you were at any of the shows you can also select 'I Was There' to add yourself to the list of attendees."

I've already seen a number of photo's that have never been previously published and clips of music that has never been heard since the day it was first played. For a fan of Jimmy & Led Zeppelin like myself this is a treasure trove! This would be an excellent model for other artists to follow.
Grammar, the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit.
