Peart Performs on Letterman, Closes Out Drum Solos Week

Postby JRNYMAN » Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:38 am

Back on June 6th, Neil performed on Letterman by himself to closeout Drum Solos Week - I wasn't aware Letterman had such a segment....
Anyway, it was interesting seeing him by himself on stage (not like he isn't ever on stage by himself but usually Alex and Ged are close by and always start and end the song together as a band.) In typical, true Neil style, he brings it to the Ed Sullivan Theater.

Nice to hear Dave (or anyone for that matter...) pronounce his name correctly!

It's spelled PEART but it's pronounced "drum-God".

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
