Fantastic review, per usual, Silvio!!
I love the last paragraph, primarily ...

Everybody knows that his voice changed through the years, especially after his
medical issues on the vocal chords, but no one seemed to care. He was there
for his fans, and his fans were there for him. I call this a fair trade
!!

Great Job!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Another great review, Silvio! Glad you enjoyed the concert! And I too, agree, Tipton is underrated.

I remember Kerry King of Slayer saying he was watching from the side of the stage one time as Priest was playing and being amazed at what Tipton was doing, saying he didn't think he could play that stuff. King is no slouch as a guitarist, either.

Ain't that great? Sometimes I don't understand why people are so obsessed with perfection, right tones...We grow old, everybody grows old, even the singers...I don't expect them to sound like 20 or 30 years ago. If they do, kudos for them...if they don't, if there's honesty and passion for the music, I don't care...
David Coverdale could be sitting in his couch, wearing pantufas and choosing what to do with his money, but instead of this, he is doing what he likes to do. Good for him and for his fans...

Thanks for reading!!

He was great...he played note by note with too much confidence. I can't tell you the difference from hearing his solo in Painkiller in comparision with the original record...I just closed my eyes and banged the head, remembering the video...Perfect!

I totally get that!! Like my sig says, it was waaaay cool to see one of my favorite guitar solos LIVE right smack in front of me! LOL didn't close my eyes though.......just stood there in awe watching PG's (and BS's) playing/fingerage.....amazing.

No wonder my nephew is into my era of music/rock bands and I think it's great that alot of them are still kicking (and/or re-uniting) for this generation to see............you just don't see that level of musical talent in today's music....or at least very few and far between. Seems to be so much more about the show/glitz/production than it is about the live raw talent.
