Ironically, my story is not mine....but, my sister's - and she could absolutely care less about social media
OK: Here's her story:
Back in 2003, she hosted a sleep-over party for her then 16 year old daughter and a bunch of her friends.
She drove them out to the nearest video / DVD rental store to pick out a movie...
...oh....did I mention it was right around Halloween....?
"The Ring" was on DVD....all of the girls were trying to "out-brave" each other:
"Yeah, well...my friend saw it; thought it was STUPID..."
"Well, I'M not gonna get scared....but YOU will..." etc
So, it was rented.
My sister was watching from around the corner; the girls were SO INTO the movie, they didn't even know she was there...
Right after they "saw the video" during the movie, my sister called the home number from her cellphone....
My Niece answered, and heard:
"SEVEN DAYS!!!!"
She SCREAMED HER HEAD OFF!....my sister came around the corner and told her that it was A JOKE.
My Sister....so evil....
