The fact hat iTunes match will replace anything you have at 128 Kbps with a 256 Kbps version regardless of the original source of the music file is amazing. That in itself sets it apart from Google music, which is cool too and free, but you have to upload everything from your hard drive.
While I spend more on music in a year than anyone I know there are certainly files from the Napster days that I got on a "discount" that would now be legitimized and upgraded. $25 to do that throughout my entire collection and access across up to 10 devices sounds good to me.
