Robert Hamm Medical Status?

I'm a big Chicago fan but have not kept up with the band over the years. I've been checking out some videos of the past decade and it appears he might have had a stroke or some other health issue because he obviously looks very stiff when he performs. Anyone have any insight on this or perhaps is it a back problem, etc? Thx.
