I read a quick review before buying it, and one note that stuck out was a reviewer lambasting the label for poor promotion overseas (or at least in the U.S.). Who knows, but I was surprised to see it here, too.
Don't know about the promotion in the U.S., but when they played Worcester, MA they sold about 2000 tickets. Not too bad. (Didn't go to the show as I had already spent too much on seeing Opeth, Kamelot and Steven Wilson).
I picked up this CD and it's become a favorite. I like the turn to a more pop/commercial sound. It works well for them. I have a soft spot for the Symphonic Metal bands that are good. Some stink, but Within Temptation is one of the real good ones.
