Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve — bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.

There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.

But, hey, at least it tastes good, right?

Mechanically separated meat..."Hey I know, let's take all the really shitty meat and over-process it and spray it with ammonia" and sell it on the cheap...this kind of shit should be illegal...dammit f I didn't enjoy chicken nuggets and McRibs in my youth

I guess it's partially true. My guess is that these are not the nuggets that say all white meat. They are the gross brown patties and nuggets that I'd never eat anyway! It definitely doesn't taste like chicken! :lol:

I like making my own mostly and opt for breast strips out.

Thanks for the correction, I should have checked that out. I should know better than to trust my vegan Daughters meat scary e-mails. She sends me shit like this all the time and I usually ignore them.
