Postby Journey/Survivor » Tue Jan 03, 2012 10:26 am

Rank these 4 singers on how well you like their singing.

If your not very familiar with one of them, then please mention it.

Please keep the rankings strictly to these 4 singers....

Lou Gramm
Jimi Jamison
Joe Lynn Turner

4 of my absolute favorites so take this as no slight to any of them.

1. Joe Lynn Turner
2. Lou Gramm
3. Paul Rodgers
4. Jimi Jamison

And if someone ranked them in reverse order it would be hard to argue! :D

My order is probably.....?

1 Jamison
2 Gramm
3 Turner
4 Rodgers

But it's very debatable. Turner and Rodgers are damn near tied in my book.

Rodgers far below? No way. Powerful, melodic voice. Perfect for rock and roll.

There is something about Rodger's voice I do not like. Not a fan of his solo cds, and I like Howe's Bad Company cds a lot better than Rodger's

Not a fan of Howe's Bad Company. That's the great thing about art. The subjectivity is what makes it interesting.

Har har har. And btw, a little out of order, Perry's vocals always first. :)

On the above list, is this in their prime or now? Will make a difference in how I choose......if it is now, Rodgers' still got his rock pipes and sounds alot better now than Gramm.

Rodgers is good, but yes you are correct, he doesn't belong there.
