Got to hear a speech from Col. Ollie North tonight

Postby artist4perry » Sun Mar 04, 2012 1:56 pm

A friend of mine called me and invited me to go hear Col. Ollie North at a Rep. dinner tonight.

The tickets were free because my friends husband and son could not make it, so she called me and offered me the tickets. (She had paid 250 dollars per person for them and could not get a refund for them, so I accepted.)

It gave me a chance to visit with my friend...who graduated high school with me and has been my friends since I was 16. We seldom get to see each other with our schedules.

It was a good speech and regardless of your political leanings it was a nice way to hear from someone who had a part in our nations history...I found it quite interesting. I have never attended one of these things before. But it was free so ... What the heck!

:D

This truly makes me miss Deano ya know... I can just hear his rant fest a mile away. Miss the bugger.

Hey Deano...the room was swarming with Reps! Southern Reps at that!

The irony...my friend and her husband own a shooting range...here I am at a Rep. event sitting at the table for the Black Iron Shooting Range. Yee Haw!

Insert Deanism below:

Me too! I mean how could he resist the invitation of a gun toting group at a Rep gathering for Ollie North! It would have been a rant fest to remember...
