For Journey:

"Homemade Love"
"Back Talk"
"Baby I'm A Leavin' You"
"Butterfly"
"Faith in the Heartland" redux
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

Homemade Love has some nice Perry blusey vocals. It has held up well believe it or not.

No other Journey singer pulls this one off. VERY PERRY. Journey meets Led Zeppelin.

I, very much, agree w/this, and I do love the vocals, I just do not like this song. However, I feel
the same way about Baby I'm Leavin' You ...love the vox, love the song, was it just a skosh out
of place on TBF?!? Perhaps, but I love it and don't care about being a minority!!

No problem. I originally got it from the Styx forum, so I can't take ALL credit. (and I forgot who posted it originally, so I apologize for that)

I've never heard a song that is great just because of the voice and this one is no exception.

Agreed, I would exchange Homemade Love for Can Do. Absolutely my least favorite J song by far.

Have to agree with MG on Baby I'm Leaving You, also. I don't mind it. It just seems out of place tacked onto the end of TBF. :?

I agree, anytime Journey wanted to really rock out, it was fine with me.

What kind of shit are you smoking? That is a fantastic song. Are you sure that wasn't Arnel Pineda's rendition you heard?
