I was a late arrival and early departer, thus missing out on much of the fun, but did have the chance to meet a few of you and to buy Dean a beer prior to the show. That was a special night and now looking back, wish I'd have spent more time with everyone.

I'd love to be able to track down the photo if possible. Since most of you guys likely have no clue as to what I look like (lucky for me  ), it may be difficult, but if there is a place all the gathering pics are posted, I'd love to see the ones from this show. I think Rick and Rip or even Maui Tom may have been in it or near by as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Pete...you got in because I had an extra ticket. My wife was on crutches for the concert so she bailed the afterparty but she was there before it all started. Could it have been my camera? I'm going to have to check it out now.

Damn TTango. Good hearing from you too. Hadn't seen you on here in so long I thought you were gone from the place. I don't get on much so could have missed you.

You actually saved me that day from having to sit in the back of the balcony (minor technicality). I am forever grateful for the killer 10th row (ish) dead center stage seats...and the good company. Still feel bad about your wife not being able to make the concert.

Like I mentioned in my initial post, I can't remember who shot the pic. I was on overload at the time, a few cocktails getting ready for the show and simply anxious about not knowing what to think of meeting a bunch of people I knew only through the internet. I certainly wish I'd have hung around a bit more.

If you do have it and would share, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

Has anyone come up with a way to get something to Lula?

Just wondering as I would like to send something.

RVR, thanks for the video of the Service.

I was stunned reading the news about Deano. While we hadn't msgd back and forth in a while, and I'd moved out of the Country, we once talked about seeing a Cardinals game in STL. Sadly it won't happen, but the next time I'm at a game, I'll be thinking of Deano, and all the things we talked about that won't e repeated here... ;)

R.I.P. Buddy :(

My best wishes to Lula & Wyatt.

i haven't viewed the service, but am grateful for stu and his choice to make it available. i often wish i would have spoke, looking back. i feared i might lash out at the large crowd that i did not know, where were they when dean hit bottom? i also made the decision to not take Wyatt, and i'm comfortable with that. again, looking back, Wyatt would have probably been a little freaked out with strangers wanting to see him, talk to him. Cheyanna was a vicious momma bear at Trevor's service; keeping tiny Wyatt from all the people. a different situation for her as she was saying goodbye to their father.

i cannot begin to tell you all how much love and comfort Stu has brought to my life. the morning i was sitting out in the cold with Wyatt, in shock, it was Stu and Andrew i reached out to. i always knew their friendship with Dean was true blue.

Thank you to those that sent flowers. I was overwhelmed when i walked into the chapel. Dean's very close and dear friend, Fay, provided photos of Dean and flowers as well. She also loved Dean and is grieving him as well. Fay was taking Dean to see Bruce, now she's stuck with me ;).

someone sent the "comfort" plant, it is a peace lily and had specific instructions to give to me. please come forward as the card did not specify the sender.

my heart aches, but time continues to bring a little strength each passing day.
Until we meet again, may God
Hold you in the palm of his hand.

It is so nice to see you posting again. I am still so sad that I wasn't able to make it to the service and so grateful that Stu was there for all of us. I will never forget Dean or the times we spent together. One of my favorite memories is the first time we met at the Journey show in Fresno, back during the JSS days. We were all standing outside the venue waiting to get in and Cyndy and I walked up to him and went, "You must be Deano." He had this wary look on his face like "who wants to know?" We introduced ourselves and gave him a big hug. He was so shocked for a minute - I think he expected a punch in the nose or something. Over the years we exchanged many PMs, text messages, emails and phone calls but it was always a special time when we got to see you guys in person.

(((Hugs))) to you and Wyatt. I think of you both often and hope you will be okay.

Lula,

It does my heart good to see you posting again! I hope that you will continue to share your thoughts with us as you transition through the grieving process. We are all feeling your loss and only hope that you find some comfort amoung your friends here.

I am so glad that you got the note to take the Peace Lily home with you. I wanted you to have it, to have something that would continue to live on in Dean's memory. I will be sending you a copy of the video slidshow that Rhi put together, of the various photos of Dean. I hope that Stu was able to show it to you at least.

Continued prayers for you, Wyatt & Deans entire family!
