This guy seems to have a pretty decent voice. I'm liking the songs on the Music tab of his site.

His sample of "A Man I'll Never Be" sounds REAL good to me.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Bret Michaels was on some new show over the weekend called Celebrity House Hunting where he toured 3 houses (mansions) and picked one of them to buy at the end of the show. He was looking at homes in Scottsdale, AZ. Those houses were freakin' awesome....log cabin/southwestern style mansions.

Decarlo is still there. Victor will be helping out on vocals and playing guitar. The guy sounds GOOD to me.

A much, MUCH better choice than Michael Sweet, who flat-out is not suited for Boston's catalogue. This tour should be much better.

I can accept it with Boston since they aren't really replacing someone who could still be in the band.

Well, I see that this guy is supposed to replace Michael Sweet, not the home depot guy (DeCarlo). That changes my take quite a bit. But it's also lame they don't make nice with Fran Cosmo, who has actually been on some Boston albums and has a history with the band.

I dunno, the more and more I see these half-put together bands, the more and more of them I think should hang it up. I'm lucky (or unlucky, as the case may be) enough to see ALL of these bands with an open mind because for the most part, I never saw them in their original incarnations or in their prime. Some have wowed me (e.g., Foreigner, the current Little River Band). Others have left me feeling sad for the band and thinking it's time to ride off into the sunset (e.g., Journey w/ Arnel, Yes). But the latter group used to be a rare "dishonor" for me, now it's becoming commonplace.

He is still with them. This guy is being in for back up vocals and to sing lead on a couple other songs. Sort of like Walk on to Corporate shows. Brad sang most and Cosmos sang back up and lead on a couple.

.

My understanding is Fran and his dad were doing a small tour form their last cd, and the promoter was billing as Cosmo of Boston or some thing like than and boss man got mad, fired them and sued them.

Going to pass on this tour. I'd rather go to a barbeque at Brad Delp's house.

David Victor is a mindblowingly awesome singer with an amazing range and a great guitar player and stage presence to match. He he will fit perfect, he's as good as Arnel is in Journey.

Have seen him twice with the Boston tribute Smokin here in LA. It's a shame, that band was doing great, but David didn't want to do anything other than the Boston radio hits, so you would go see them and instead of doing stuff like Had a Really Good Time- which is a great song, they fill the set with Journey, Styx and Highway Star. It was lame.

He left and the other members folded the band.

I'm sure he's great. I would rather pay $15 to see his tribute band than the Tom Scholz traveling circus these days regardless of who is in it though.
