Thanks Dave. :D You mean you don't want a portrait done?      :P

Portrait? Yes...One with freaky-looking creatures and forest animals? I'll pass.

 I have done normal ones you know.

But I am a surrealist/illustrator. It is normal the way I draw. There are much more extreme artists than I am.

You ARE the extreme.

And I take that as a compliment! LOL! I sent the photo of Julian Lennon to my old Prof. She said I was so "Weird". And she meant that as a good thing! LOL! I am going to be talking next week hopefully with a museum curator at the college I graduated from. She is trying to help me get started...I guess you could say I am a pet project of hers...she likes my style, and thinks I will be able to make it out there. I hope she is right, I am going to work hard and prove her right. ;) She almost nominated me for the "Women to Watch" art exhibition, problem was I did not have the type of artwork they were looking for at the time...the criteria was female figure. I did not have any female full figured art done at the time. She is really sweet to do so much to help me. Maybe someday!

Thanks again Dave.

I didn't recognize that as being him because I never seen him with 1) that much hair and 2) brown hair and beard. That must be a really old photo.

Oh, so your a chick "Ginger"? I thought you were a guy only because of your avatar. My bad.

LOL! I am a chick Sushi. The guy in the av is Jim Henson the creator of the muppets.

This is me.

Gee and I thought all the muppets around him would give him away!  I always admired his work, and his personality...truly a nice man with a love for children and enjoying the inner child. :D

He had a beard in the 80's. He died very young with pneumonia.

Yep, 1990 if I'm recounting correctly. I remember cause I was living in Japan and saw it on the news. Wasn't it not your typical pneumonia that he died from?

I have no idea what type he had. He had even went to the doctor and got an all clear to return to working and it hit him hard.

This is a report I found. severe strep...nothing to play over!

The 53-year-old Henson was at the pinnacle of his career when he died, on May 16, 1990, of a severe strep infection that destroyed his lungs within days.
