MRCD9 compilation 15 Years Later

It's time to launch pre-sales of the new MRCD9 compilation 15 Years Later. But first...some updates about this monster release. It just got bigger...a major artist and favourite of mine is being added to the compilation with a previously unreleased gem from the vaults. BUT...I have to wait one more day to confirm that the original master file has been located and is ready for our JK Northrup to give it has rematering treatment. So, hopefully tomorrow!

The good thing about the Melodic Rock.com CD's is that they are filled with things that you wouldn't normally make an effort to investigate. I have bought several of them thinking that there was only one or two tracks of any interest on there, and then I turn out to be pleasantly surprised- as a matter of fact a couple of the volumes are the only compilation CD's that I find worth it to play.

I think that not the best parts of the songs were picked for the preview (I must admit that it's tough to really show a song in 01:20). Of my songs for instance the choruses are missing so it does not really show the context/buildup of the song. That goes for most of the songs on it I think. So, it's probably much better once you hear the entire songs of the artists involved.

So...the last one I got was the double disc in '07...don't remember which one that was I bought in South Bend, but it took my beer money.

Seriously...it's one of my favorite cd's. One of those "Deserted island" type of cds.

Yeah, that's true. I was on some of the Munich's Hardest Hits compilation cd's and I would get a copy of them myself. There were always a few artists/bands on it which I never heard before, but got to hear and enjoy through those albums. I would then buy their full albums. Would have never gotten to know them would I not have heard them on the compilation.
