Bachman Turner live in Columbus OH last night

This probably rocks a little too hard for you guys jamming Open Arms all night long, but I saw Bachman Turner last night in Columbus, and these guys still ROCK. They're damn near 70, and they were excellent. They performed 3 songs from their most recent album, Bachman Turner (November '10 I think) and played all the hits (Let it Ride, Hey You, Takin Care of Business, Four Wheel Drive, Lookin out for Number One, etc). Fred Turner's voice is still powerful as hell with very little signs of age, and Randy plays guitar as well as ever.

A sample from their most recent live DVD--Let it Ride. Sounded just as good last night.

I saw BTO open for Van Halen on the 5150 tour and again in the early 90's on their own. Glad to see they are still rockin it.

If you haven't heard their comeback album from a couple years ago, you really gotta check it out. Fantastic effort. Only Asia comes close for their recent efforts. Blows the hell out of recent AOR releases, for sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9Mcz1C296o
