My daughters name is Brooke. She's 21 in September. I must have done something right. :)

I remember when she was in a car seat, maybe 3 or 4 years old and I would be taking her to daycare before work and I would have some good classic rock going and I would be bobbing my head to the beat and I would look over and she was doing the same.

She had her sweet 16 party at her mother's house several years ago and they had a DJ there and it was so funny how much classic rock she had in the playlist, and equally funny/great how her friends embraced it.

Her friends obviously listened to MUSIC, instead of the shit that's plaguing the airwaves/MTV today

No, brother, she's married. Her husband is in the Navy and deployed on the Enterprise. The last, final deployment for that ship.

That's awesome. Now here's the real question: What does she think of Eclipse?

Has it been confirmed how long the strike group is expected to remain?

The Navy hasn't officially announced the new deployment plan for the Stennis, said spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Zach Harrell." The ship came home to Naval Base Kitsap on March 2 after seven months of launching planes into Iraq and Afghanistan. Generally, it wouldn't go back to the Fifth Fleet area of responsibility for four to five years, after a deployment to the Western Pacific and a maintenance period. But with Iran making threats, crew members learned Saturday they'll be leaving again in late August for eight months."

I'm pretty sure typical deployments are around 8 months... but that many carriers in one place is not an accident...

I don't think she's heard it. I don't think she's heard much w/o SP.

There was a rumor going around that the U.S. was going to incite Iran into attacking the Enterprise.

I hate those kinds of conspiracy theories.
