Neil Peart Pronounces His Last Name!

Postby JRNYMAN » Sun Aug 05, 2012 5:07 pm

The only reason I even thought to post this here is because of the many times the topic has come up in discussions with everyone believing he/she is correct. From the mouth of the man himself, Neil tells Eddie Trunk how to say it correctly. (Eddie asks Neil the question at 1:38 )

The entire interview is pretty good.

Not at all.... not at all! The "egg on my face moment" about this is that I was one of those who thought what we now know is the correct way, was absolutely ludicrous!

BLASPHEMIST! Anyone who lives in the same country that claims RUSH as well as a nationally celebrated holiday called BOXING DAY and didn't know this should have their subscription to The Hockey Network suspended for a year!

Someone told me it was pronounced like the fruit, Pear, with a 't' on the end. WRONG! And I had been proliferating that. :?
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
