Expendables 2

Postby jestor92 » Sat Aug 18, 2012 1:58 am

Went to go see it this morning at a midnight showing...WOW. The movie is epic. Much better than the first film (which was very good). Thus far it's my favorite movie of the year. A ton of action and some very funny parts. Great movie and I can't wait for the sequel.

I heard they're in talks with Nicholas Cage, Wesley Snipes, and Clint Eastwood for Expendables 3

It would be cool if they would also get Mel Gibson for Expendables 3. And if they could get Steven Seagal into shape, use him too. Maybe even Jesse Ventura?

But I really want Stallone to make Rambo V.

I don't think Snipes is eligible for a work permit as his sentence was originally delayed so that he could take care of his film commitments. He's due to be released July 2013.

Besides Mel Gibson, it would be cool with me if they got Pierce Brosnan to be in the next one, too.

Mel Gibson would be clutch, Matt. Good choice there! I'd also go Segal, I mean, really? He's still not cast? Dah fuck is Mr.T up to these days?

I'd love to see them get The Rock and Mr. T in Expendables 3. Also Gibson sounds like he would be a good ad as well. I'd also love Harrison Ford and Eastwood.

This one was a relative letdown compared to the first one, IMHO. Van Damme was good up until that last fight... pansy.

Mel Gibson
Steven Seagal (If they get him into shape)
Pierce Brosnan
Mr. T
Carl Weathers
Jesse Ventura
Hulk Hogan
Clint Eastwood
Nick Cage

Those are all guys that I would be alright with seeing in Expendables III, in addition to the group that they already have from the first two films. Obviously they wouldn't all be able to have a large role in the film. And I don't know how active Clint Eastwood can be at his age. So he might only be able to do a cameo like Arnold and Bruce did in the first film?

I have seen him listed on a few lists on other websites.

He was good in Tango & Cash.

This might sound like an odd choice to some, and I'm not sure if his health is good enough?.....But I wouldn't even mind Michael Douglas being in part 3.

Stargate, Big Trouble in Little China, the aforementioned Tango and Cash, The Thing (the original...not the crap remake), and last but not least, Escape from New York. In my mind, he was the embodiment of the anti-hero

I just saw Expendables 2 tonight. I liked it even better than the first one. This one had a stronger storyline IMO.

I also saw a trailer for "Bullet To The Head" which is Stallone's next film. And a trailer for Arnold's next film "The Last Stand." They both look pretty good.
