Wake up ! It's 2012 !

Actually, I tried listening to the last new Eagles album, but fell asleep past the second song. Does that count?

Wait a second, I did buy a new album once. I bought Jon Mayer's third album, Continium. Only I kept falling asleep in my car while listening to it so Allstate suggested I might want to get rid of it before they get rid of me.

Could you tell us a little more about this one? You think its better than Crossroads Moment?

Right now I think it might just be better, yes. It's just classic Jimi all the way.

Seriously...?! "unfrickenbelievable"?? That's a pretty strong statement coming from you. When you say "huge wall of sound..." is it safe to assume there's a lot of layering? I've always liked Rick's sound and his style. He's not the world's greatest guitarist - and he doesn't ever try to be. He sorta goes with what he knows and creates some decent tunes around it.

Unfrickenbelievable. I'm Rick's harshest critic as I expect perfection each time and normally find ways that each album could have been even better, but this time I'm just left buzzing with it's brilliance. Lots of lots of layers, very big and slick production.
