This dude posted on his site that a picture of a Home Depot clerk in a Brad Delp Halloween costume is a "Work Of Art".

I beg to differ.

This is a "Work of Art" Jon.

Jon, put watermarks on your pictures if you are that sensitive. I saw your website. You're talented.

I am forming a Jackson Browne tribute band and would like to hire you to shoot our promo pics.

It's hard to believe that this clone ness is not a problem over on the other site. It is creepy. I'd be fine with Tommy looking like he used to.

Maybe he should. That "new" look is fucking disturbing, and a kick in Delp's face.

I had enough of a problem with DeCarlo as another tribute singer/American Idol "overnight success story" (that is now beyond boring)

To dress him up like Delp makes me angry as Brad was my wife's favorite singer.

To StillStanding - I'll be happy to send you and your new Boston friends my home information, as long as you show up to say "hi" as well.

I'm easy to find and don't hide. Perhaps they can sue me for a right/click and save?

Fuck guys get over it. If you want to wish for back in the day keep wishing. I wished Brad was still around too, he's not. Tommy's voice is great and he does a very good job of covering Brad's old parts. If you don't like a replacement singer, then move on. Whether a guy was a floor guy at Home Depot, an engineer for GM, or a marketing guy from PG, who gives a fuck? The question should be whether the guy can sing or not. The answer is yes he can, and very very well. I used to shovel crap for a living. I don't anymore. Tommy is a great singer and shouldn't be taking the bollocks for it. Is it weird he's went into look like Delp mode?, yes. Should we condem him, I don't think so. The guy is a great singer and needs to stand on his own. Is the look a like deal a little weird, yes. Should we bollock him, no. He's a great singer and may just be fitting into a rock n roll look. Going forward, go into your own look so your voice stands on it's own. Give the guy a fair shake for fuck's sake. He's WAY better than Arnel and Kelly in the replacement gig. They sing their shit in the original key for fuck's sake. The rest can't.

Let them tour their tribute act. I got no problem with that Aaron.

Dressing this guy up like their dead lead singer is disgusting. DeCarlo is probably forced into it by Scholtz based on his treatment of former band mates who all HATE him.

Just tell me you aren't "StillStanding" on their little forum. (Whoever that is though, is a member here - OBVIOUSLY)

It's not about "getting over" anything. We are on a free forum (mostly) and can discuss and rant whatever we choose within reason. I don't care, I'm not giving them any money. But to expect former fans to not be upset about something like this is pretty unrealistic.

I laid off of them until I was sent the DeCarlo new look photo.
