Great for 4S and iPad 3
Will be even greater on iPhone 5 tomorrow ;)

The new map is cool with 3D buildings ( select cities )
The panoramic photo mode is awesome ( only on 4S , shame they don't have it for 4 users)

The voice navigation is also good. ( again 4S only but not 4)

Overall one of their best updates.

I didn't expect my iPad2 to work with it but it does. Very cool so far! :)

Love that Siri has more functionality and the turn-by-turn directions. I'm still trying to figure what Passbook is all about though.

Give it time. Not many merchants support it right now but it'll catch on.

Agree with you 100%.
I'm hoping Google will release an App ! StreetView is very useful when looking up places you've never been to.
The 3D stuff is cool. But it will be cool for a few weeks and then forgotten.

I hope so, the more I read about it the more I like it.

I have no frame of reference. Before I left the store with the 4S on friday, the guy installed the update for me, so didn't get to use the old system. Everyone who has the 4S at work was all jazzed about the update on friday morning... my boss kept running over to show me new things on his phone and he kept taking panoramic photos. I'm not impressed with the 3D map thing. It's just a toy that will wear off in a few days. I haven't even looked at it on mine yet. StreetView features are far more useful to me. Until it has that, meh.

So far I dig this though. Never had an iPhone before this one.

I used the Maps Navigation today that so many people are complaining about. It did fine on my trip.
