That was a great concert. I miss the young Billy, when he used to do backflips off the piano, but I guess he'd look pretty ridiculous attempting that now (not to mention that he'd probably end up a paraplegic.) Anyway, he sounds better these days than he did a few years back when he was chugging back the alcohol on a regular basis.

Billy Joel sounded like he had a bad head cold. His upper range was simply gone and River of Dreams was painful at times. He sounded hoarse when speaking even, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

ROD was a struggle for him, no doubt, but I thought he did surprisingly well on Miami 2017 and NYSOM. Even Rolling Stone Magazine praised his entire performance as a highlight of the evening and said that he "hasn't lost a step," and that's saying a lot coming from them (they're FAR from being among Billy's biggest fans.)

These are the same stupid assholes who have boycotted Journey and said they were "corporate sellouts". FUCK the Rolling Stones and their opinions. BTW... I didn't see the show and am not commenting about BJ's performance, I just had to comment since I saw the sorry ass name Rolling Stones come up. Rant over... carry on!
