Happy New Year!

Postby Rick » Tue Jan 01, 2013 1:23 pm

I hope everyone has a great 2013.

As for a new years resolution, I'm just going to keep it at the same as 2012. 1280x1024.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

So far my New Year's Eve has consisted of a FULL HOUSE marathon and a mouse. And his name isn't Mickey.... The people I dogsit for conveniently forgot to to tell me there is a mouse living somewhere inside their kitchen. He is either in the Pantry or laundry room. I keep hearing him knocking about..... I don't like MICE.....

Peanut butter on a mouse trap...they cannot resist it and they cannot pull it off and run...they have to lick it off...SNAP! Mouse problem solved. 8)

New Years Resolution? I don't make them. I set goals that are flexible. Lets face it making promises tend to make us not keep them...setting goals you can strive for a little at a time and if you don't quite keep them you did not give your word to do something. I plan on getting more art made, promote it more, and try and get more contests entered. I hope to lose weight some...a goal that also takes time...a little more patience with those who annoy me.

don't want to scare you scarygirl, but there is never just one mouse.

If it is living in the kitchen, it will have a family.
But if it is entering the house on its feeding route, it may be alone for now. But mice are incontinent and wee [and poop] all the time. Other mice follow their trail.
And they can get inside through holes as small as a pencil. So find the entry point and block it.

If you kill one in a trap, set the trap nightly for several weeks after to see if there are others.

Happy New Year everyone by the way.
