Tommy DeCarlo masquerading as Brad Delp disgusts me.

Anytime it takes multiple singers to "replace" the original guy, it's TIME to hang it up.

Sounded fine to me... Not exactly a concert setting. Tommy looking like that though deserves the Hugo Creepy award. Every sin like this is totally accepted on the Boston board. That's nuts . And by the way, David Victor broke up an awesome Boston tribute band because he wouldnt sing enough Boston songs. Now he's in the band . Makes no sense does it?

It makes perfect sense. Dollar sign$$$$!! Money talks and bullshit walks.

I think it's hilarious Boston exists at all, and that people pay to see them. Boston is one of those bands with far too many songs that sound too similar, i.e. same chord template, similar arrangements and choruses, banal lyrics. Even the first album had limited mileage for me way back when. I can listen to the instrumental prelude "Foreplay" and that's about it.

Oh my! That sounds awful. I had to miss Boston when in the area last fall. Now I'm not nearly as disappointed.

Holy fuck. That was a fucking train wreck. Not sure how anyone walks away from that thinking "sounds fine". Wow.

If they're going to continue, I'd say dump DeCarlo and get Fran Cosmo back in the band, if that's even at all possible.

No Cosmo, no "Boston" shows. Ridiculous. He sounded a lot better in karaoke when he lived here years ago.

I listened to the singing for about 10 seconds.... then turned it off and promptly went and threw up.

Cosmo was the guy that was hitting all those stratospheric high notes when my wife and I saw them back in 2002. Delp even introduced Cosmo as "the guy who hits all the notes I can't hit anymore."

He was also responsible for Boston finally being able to replicate the double tracked vocals on the studio albums in a live setting to some degree. I had never really enjoyed Boston in concert until Cosmo joined.

This band was over as soon as Scholz hired Dahme.

Anytime it takes multiple singers to "replace" the original guy, it's TIME to hang it up.

On the Walk On tour (I think) it took Brad and Fran (and the harmony vocals) to pull off the live vocals. Brad even said "Thanks to Fran for covering my ass every night"....

So twisted on so many levels.

For one, are they singing to a track? Sounds so karaoke.

Two, when did Garth join the band?

Yeah, I jumped before I saw your post. Still holds true. Using multiple vocalists to cover the original recordings live is pretty much a necessity w/ Boston given that A- Delp recorded TONS of harmonies on that stuff and had dozens of takes to hit the right notes and B- age.
