Music Shops

Postby collingwood » Mon May 20, 2013 11:47 am

I was wanting to know if there are any good music shops in America worth checking out that someone can recommend?

Obviously looking in the Melodic Rock/Hard Rock/Metal styles.

Have you ever checked out www.nehrecords.com? Not sure if you mean an online store? We have an awesome store here in my city called "Manifest Discs and Tapes". I've spent a fortune in this place. They sell new and used and have just about every album you can think of. The cool thing is you can find many of the best 80's cds used for $3 or $4 each. I usually walk out of there with 5-10 albums at a time!

I actually mean shops to go in... I will be going to a few places such as L.A., San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Boston to name a few and I'm struggling to think of shops to go to, but as I love my music I'd love to find any good places to get some old CD's such as stuff from the 80's and the AOR/Metal type stuff I don't already have.

I've been trying to search online for shops, but finding it a bit disappointing to be honest. Even music shops with guitars and stuff don't seem to be that appealing.

This is a music chain in California. They have stores in Hollywood and San Francisco.

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
