I hope you get to feeling better, Ginger. I know from experience that taking pain meds on an empty stomach can make you nauseated. Hopefully that will stop. If not, maybe they can give you something for nausea, like Phenergan.

Rick it got so bad I went to the doctor to get it to stop, I had tried eating when taking the meds but I guess my stomach still does not like the medication. She gave me two different types of nausea meds one of them Phenergan so I can sleep at night. Still woozy and weak but at least no more dry heaves...she said that was the last thing I needed to do when I have just had such an evasive surgery. I liked her...she is not my regular doctor, just the one on call.

I have to say I have been well cared for. I am just looking so forward to pain free days that will come in time!

Steveo when is your knee surgery?

I am doing well but I am getting really sore now things are healing. It hurts to take a deep breath and to laugh...if you know my personality you will know I laugh at lots of things so it has been a bit rough healing! LOL I also have a very funny daughter who is taking care of me and her friends are equally as funny so when they are at the house I get so sore it hurts to breath! I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have her home and I know she is going back to her home in mid Aug. but I will miss her so much it will not be funny at all. I am bonding in a wonderful way with my daughter. Her friends live only a block or two away from us so she takes off when Dan gets home or she has them come over. My son visits as much as he can and he has spent the night a few nights as well...it is so wonderful to have the whole family sitting down to dinner again...I hate that they had to grow up and go their own way...but I am so proud of both of them and how they have helped us through this whole thing. I am such a lucky mom. I have wonderful children.
