How many units did Diff Kind Of Truth sell?

Was wondering how many sold. I heard it sold poorly and I find that hard to believe because it seems everyone has it. Also, do sales count towards digital downloads from iTunes or Amazon?

I know it sold over nearly 500,000 copies in the United States alone. Globally it's over 1 million. Van Halen out sold Aerosmith's last studio album in first week sales by 26,500 albums. Those are two bands in about the same boat -- only Aerosmith hadn't been away for 14 years.

That's good to hear someone told me it hadn't reach 500,000 yet and I find that hard to believe.
